Principal's Message

Lipton school is an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Collectively as staff and students, we work hard to unlock our potential and grow as a community. Our school values of safety, effort and respect are reflected in our day-to-day operations, both in the classroom and out. We believe students excel in environments where they feel safe, supported, and are driven to learn and grow.

This is my first year at Lipton school and even as a newcomer, it is evident this is a school that cares about the individuals within it’s four walls. We offer Pre-K classes, collaborative math groups for our primary students, magnet programs for our high school students with varying interests, the list goes on. Our programming reflects the interest of our students and provides diverse learning opportunities. We are proud to offer a thriving nutrition program, extra-curricular teams/clubs, family literacy events, and more. In addition to these opportunities our building provides an incredible library filled with quality literature and a gym which is a student-favourite for school gatherings and break times. A very special feature of our school is our up-and-coming outdoor multicultural classroom which is a beautiful addition to our outdoor space and playground.

A focus of mine, this year and in the years to come, is to foster positive relationships with students and community members. I believe that we, as a learning community, are a team. It takes consistent teamwork to enable our students to be their best selves and thrive not only in school but out of school as well. I am so fortunate to be a team member of Lipton school, a supportive environment valuing safety, effort and respect.

To enhance teamwork, I am a firm believer in consistent and ample communication. I am always just a phone call or email away and will always make time to talk! Thank you to this amazing community for welcoming me with open arms. I am so lucky to be a part of the Lipton family!
