Raina LaCroix, Grade 12 student at Lipton was honoured this past weekend at the Metis Nation Legislative Assembly. Her work as a youth rep with the Metis Nation, receiving the Cadet Medal of Excellence and her community leadership activities earned special honour at the fall sitting of the MNLA. She received a Pendleton blanket and earned the title of Dumont Scout. Being a Dumont Scout is a place of honour and great respect for citizens of the Metis Nation. Raina is a role model within our student body and we are so proud of her for being honoured in this way! Congratulations!!
